How to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. Use either option:

• Email: send a message to abhijeet@akrabhi.com with the subject “Motovu data deletion request”.
• Contact form: use our contact page and choose “Data deletion request”.

Please include the name, phone number or email associated with your Motovu account, and, if relevant, the vehicle registration number. This helps us find your records and confirm the request is genuinely yours.

If you signed in with Facebook

If you used Facebook Login with Motovu, you can also remove the connection yourself:

1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
2. Find Motovu and click Remove.
3. Optionally tick the option to delete posts, photos and videos Motovu may have posted (Motovu does not post to your profile).

Removing the app stops Motovu from receiving new data from Facebook. To also delete the data we already hold, send us a deletion request as described above and we will erase it.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (name, phone, email, role).
• Data received from Facebook or other login providers.
• Your messaging preferences and contact details held for notifications.
• Vehicle and visit records, and images, that identify you personally, where we are the party responsible for them.

What we may keep: records we must retain by law (for example tax and invoicing records) and limited security logs needed to prevent fraud. These are kept only for the legally required period and then deleted.

How long it takes

We confirm receipt within 3 working days and complete deletion within 30 days. Encrypted backups are overwritten within 35 days after that. We will email you when it is done.

If your data was entered by a service centre

If a workshop entered your details into Motovu, that workshop controls the record. Send your request to us anyway: we will either delete the data or forward your request to the workshop and tell you who has it. See our Privacy Policy for more.
